C'est par le biais de son expérience dans le graffiti qu'Alexis Taïeb (alias Tyrsa) a fait ses premières armes dans ce qui adviendra être son affinité première : la typographie.
Entre étude de la lettre, structuration et déstructuration de celle-ci, travail de la composition, il joue et déjoue les codes typographiques pour travailler des visuels précis, aux inspirations riches.
C'est dans des références aussi variées que les compositions typographiques helvétiques, la calligraphie, le tatouage, l'imagerie rétro américaine, le graffiti ou encore de vieilles affiches publicitaires françaises, qu'il puise son inspiration.
