David LANASPA aka Da est graphiste illustrateur autodidacte depuis 1998. Il vit dans le sud-ouest de la France.
Après avoir été longtemps directeur Artistique d'une des marques pionnières dans le street-wear français (TRIIAD), il fonde en 2004 avec son ami Jaf la marque CELL DIVISION.
Aujourd'hui il gère toute l'identité visuelle de cette marque et de la marque OTAKU (marque de tee-shirt issue de la culture jeux vidéo)
Attiré par la scène urbaine et l’ambiance qui s’en dégage; il réalise des illustrations pour le magazine de skate SOMA.
Il baigne dans ce qu’on appelle la «skate culture» : ce mélange de musique, de graphisme et de rencontres avec des gens qui partagent la même passion.
Il aime beaucoup les illustrateurs comme EVAN HECOX qui reste pour lui le maitre en scène urbaine. Mais aussi : JOSH COCHRAN, LUCINDA ROGERS, JOHN HENDRIX, STEFAN MARX …En matière de graphisme, il visite chaque jour les sites http://ffffound.com et http://superpunch.blogspot.com pour puiser un peu d'inspiration...
Toujours prêt à saisir l’instant, il réalise beaucoup de croquis sur le vif, lors de ses voyages ou de ses moments libres. On retrouve toujours cette inspiration urbaine et on ressent ce grand plaisir de laisser parler les gens qu’il croque, sur ses dessins.
